Full Disclosure

Well…Danny just left my messy home. He is a great photographer and he’s the only one who I would even let snap a picture of me. He came over to take our family photos and no one was ready, the husband hadn’t shaved, we were arguing about what to wear, and the boy’s friend, Daniel, was over and eating us out of house and home.

I tried to get Daniel to get into our family photo as well. We can always use another lost adolescent around these here parts.

The worse part about it was this…the husband took the boy and two friends out on the boat today to go fishing. Why, I don’t know, it was freezing. He bought the boys McDonald’s for lunch and the bags were strewn all over my house. The husband and I went out to dinner and a party on Saturday night. We had sushi! Anyway, the kids stayed home and I order them pizza, and the Dominos pizza box was sitting on the counter.

Danny is trying to lose weight, I preach and preach and preach. And he comes over and see the McDonald bags and the pizza box on the kitchen counter.

For the record, neither the husband, nor I, had any McDonald’s fast food or pizza. But it didn’t set a good example. Sorry Danny. But you better not have any fast food if you know what’s good for you.

This post is going on BOTH my blogs…as a double apology. Can’t wait to see those photos.

My friend Danny has shown me what it means to really be committed. No one is more committed to changing his life style. We are going to follow his progress, and all keep him accountable in order to meet his weight loss goal. He’s lost 40 pounds since January. Here’s to the next 40!

Follow his progress at Fit Signatures.

Introducing Fit Signatures

Although my life and my fitness regiment are intertwined, I’ve decided to separate the two in my blog. Introducing – Fit Signatures. I’ll post exercise tips, yoga poses, nutrition tips and among other things over there. It’s my stab at being serious. You may see the design change from time to time in Fit Signatures. It’s because I can’t make up my mind.

So here’s to life and health. May the two join harmoniously.

The Beginning Of The Weekend 1/1/2008

I can’t believe it’s November already. You ate too much candy last night, go ahead admit it. It’s the first step.

Have a great weekend. Remember to watch your caloric intake. Eat natural foods, color foods, foods that are from the vegetable aisle in the grocery store. Or from your mom’s garden like this one.

Be well.
